
Africa Venture Partners (AVP) is an African based investment and strategic management partner that focuses exclusively on the Telecommunications Technology sector. AVP has a strong track record in building telecommunications and technology assets in Africa.
AVP develops structures, finances, and implements growth strategies for own companies and those of selected partner companies. Interests lie in all areas of telecom technology including mobile and fixed networks, terrestrial wireless and satellite operators, signal distributors, Internet companies and technology platform providers.
Once projects are developed to the point of financial feasibility, AVP takes principal responsibility for raising the capital required to provide the company with the financial resources to succeed. AVP’s involvement is "hands on" and ongoing.

development and holding company.
AVP Telecoms develops projects where it holds or is part of the shareholder group that owns the (operating) license (or joint venture agreement with the license holder). The geographic focus is Africa and the Middle East, and the (areas of operation and expertise) include fixed and mobile, terrestrial and wireless networks that provide voice, data, and IP based services. These include most major technology platforms including GSM, WLL, and satellite based networks.
AVP Advisors (Pty) Ltd - A telecommunications
corporate advisory company.
AVP Advisors provides a range of corporate advisory services to both investors and operating companies in the African telecom sector in order to develop, structure, implement and finance growth strategies in organizations such as telecom, data and satellite operators, signal distributors, Internet companies and technology providers.
Circle Technology Partners (Pty) Limited – an Empowerment Technology and Telecommunications Investment Company
Circle Technology Partners (CTP) is a joint venture company with Circle Capital a leading black economic empowerment group, which is chaired by Dr. Mamphela Ramphele, the former MD of the World Bank. CTP focuses primarily in acquisition and consolidation of Telecom and Technology assets in South Africa. The strategic objective of CTP is to establish a portfolio of operating businesses that will access growth opportunities in African markets.
