AVP Telecoms is focused on developing telecommunications projects as an operator. AVP Telecoms works through companies in which it holds equity, as well as with strategic technology partners, locally and internationally.
AVP Telecoms develops projects where it holds or is part of the shareholder group that holds the operators license (or joint venture agreement with the license holder). Often, AVP is presented opportunities by existing operators, institutional investors, and major telecommunications solutions and services companies. In other cases, AVP conceives projects, develops them to the point of financial viability and investor interest, and on to operational status.
AVP Principals typically get deeply involved in revamping the business and marketing plans, and in defining the technology platforms of target operating companies. Uniquely, AVP brings considerable depth in the technical, commercial, and regulatory aspects of the business.
Once projects are developed to the point of financial feasibility, AVP Telecoms takes principal responsibility for raising the capital required to provide the company with the financial resources to succeed. AVP Telecoms’ involvement is "hands on" and ongoing, often to the point of taking executive responsibility for critical strategic and tactical aspects of the company's operations.
