Robert Tibbs

Mr. Tibbs is an international business executive with over 30 years of consulting and corporate experience in top management, as an advisor, investor and entrepreneur.  He has founded and developed a number of successful telecommunications ventures including satellite operator, Actel, and broadband service provider, Accelon, where he serves as Chairman.



Eric Wright

Mr. Wright has extensive experience in venture capital, private equity, M&A, corporate finance, capital markets and leverage buyouts in Africa and the USA. Mr. Wright was the head of private equity and venture capital for CitiGroup in South Africa. Mr. Wright has been involved in cross-boarder corporate finance and capital markets transactions totaling approximately $1 billion for African issuers.   Mr. Wright brings experience in TMT having advised and invested in major telecommunications concerns.



David Keast

Mr. Keast is a co-Founder of Accelon (Pty) Ltd, with strategic business development expertise in the Telecoms and IT sectors across Africa. With relevant operating and strategic management experience in the industry, he has headed strategic development for the MTN Group and has advised a broad number of major South African and international TMT companies.




Fred Moturi

Mr. Moturi is a business executive with extensive experience in business development, sales and marketing of technology and communications solutions in Africa. He has led several efforts for large technology groups in directing the African expansion strategy as well as management of the country offices.



Moetapele “Eta” Motlhabi

Mr. Motlhabi is a business development professional whose experience lies in the IT and Telecommunications industries. Mr. Motlhabi has advised various South African IT companies on the development of market strategy, services and solutions development, sales and marketing planning, operational readiness, and organizational readiness with respect to the delivery of solutions.



Jock Anderson

Mr. Anderson has extensive experience in the telecommunications, technology and television industries, having developed several African-based companies including M-Net, the MultiChoice Group and Orbicom. He established the network and operating team as the CTO of Accelon.


K. Michael Quist, Jr., Ghana

Mr. Quist was previously the CEO of UUNET Africa, an Internet network service provider and Regional Managing Director for Africa Online in Ghana. As its MD, Mr. Quist established Accelon Ghana.


Fola Ogunsiakan, Nigeria

Mr. Ogunsiakan previously served at McKinsey & Co. and as CEO of Avidiant LLC, and e-Commerce solutions provider to African markets, and particularly the Nigerian oil and gas industry. As its MD, Mr. Ogunsiakan established Accelon Nigeria.


Terence Taylor

Mr. Taylor is an Emerging Market Finance specialist, having worked for Citibank, DLJ and the IFC. He has worked in the US and Europe, as well as emerging markets in Latin America, Asia and Africa. He was a co-founder of Incubu Inc. Mr. Taylor has an MBA from Harvard University.
